Rowe’s Toggenburg does continued to demonstrate their longevity and lifetime production potential in 2002. Flora (33,090 M 994F 894P) exceeded 33,000 lbs milk in 9 lactations. Her daughter Fern (305D 5260M 135F 125P) was the 2002 ADGA Toggenburg Breed Leader (#1 for Milk, Fat & Protein). Fern was also the Supreme Dairy Goat Total Performer over all breeds at the 2002 California State Fair, an honor her dam Flora received in ‘98, ‘00 and ‘01. Susanna (305D 4540M 101F 103P) and Rosebud daughter Rosette
(305D 3960M 98F 97P) also qualified for Top Ten status in 2002. Fern and Susanna recently completed records exceeding 4000 lbs. in 2002-2003. See individual doe pages for complete lactation records.

Rowe’s Toggenburgs were awarded 6 Best Senior Doe (2 each for Fauna, Rosemary and
Robin) and 1 Best Jr. Doe in Show (Rosette II) awards in 2002. Misty (3 yrs), Fiesta (2yrs) and Robin (2 yrs) all achieved permanent GCH status in 2002, joining current herdmates Rosebud, Mary II, Margaret, Fauna, Rosemary II and Susanna as GCH does.
Rowe’s Toggenburgs were awarded 12 BOB and 15 GCH’s in 2002. We show at only one fair each year, the California State Fair, which featured Toggenburgs as a District VIII Toggenburg specialty show, with
110 Toggenburgs exhibited. Rowe’s Toggenburgs exhibited the Supreme Champion Best 3 Females of Show (Robin, Fauna & Margaret) and Supreme Dairy Goat Total Performer (Fern). Rowe’s Toggenburgs exhibited 9 out of 10 individual class winners,
including GCH/BOB (Robin), RGCH (Fauna), BUB (Margaret) and Jr. GCH (Carnation), and placed 1st in every group class. Maestro was premier Toggenburg sire for the 4th year in a row. Rowe’s Toggenburgs won Premier Toggenburg Breeder and Exhibitor banners for the 7th consecutive year.
